"Why am I here?" That question has been asked an infinite number of times over the ages. Everyday people live their lives, some in fear, some in pain. Others are content, lustful, or joyous. No matter what their differences are, however, they all try to find a way to live each day with the understanding that there are forces beyond their control that affect their lives. Transients presents a view of the characters we encounter everyday. We have known some of them; we have even been some of them. Along the way, though, we begin to understand that those forces affecting our lives may be closer than we think.
