Robert Hickman is a successful fantasy book writer. His wife passed away over a year ago, but he has still not gotten completely over the pain of losing his "princess." Upon completing his latest novel he goes for his traditional scotch and a walk where he meets an adoring fan, Elisabeth. They have a chance encounter and Robert returns home to discover one of his characters has come to life. The wizard Mandar offers him a chance to be reunited with his wife, living as a princess in his stories. He is left to make the decision by dawn. Does he choose love? Does he choose a new beginning?
