Johnny Haskall keeps having horrible dreams about a violent demise for his friend David Jennings. He is haunted by brutal visions of David's murder while awake as well, and because Johnny has had a history of psychic visions, the man fears for his best friend's life. Johnny's analyst says the visions are really guilt driven figments of his imagination: that he somehow feels responsible for his loved-ones deaths. Add these to the current stress from his job, and it explains the visions of David's demise. Of course, Johnny doesn't buy it and feels obligated to stop the impending march of David's fate. Johnny takes matters into his own hands by inviting David over and then locking his unsuspecting friend into his apartment. David believes Johnny's crazy and wants out, but what will happen? The ending is truly one you won't forget.
