Two out of work detectives are hired by the sultry Mrs. Reardon to find her missing husband. The only clue to his whereabouts is that it might have something to do with "national security". It quickly becomes obvious that Mr. Reardon does not want to be found and he and his "friends" will do anything to make sure that happens.
