Production Notes

For the first time, Foo was faced with a problem: one of its founders, C.C., was not around to do filming with the rest of the Foo gang. However, Dan had the filming bug and had to do something. So, he sought the help of Foo friend, Joe Vaccariello, and actor Frank Parker, and put together a short but spunky movie to appease the fans.

A Time to Chill tells the story of a young mobster (Dan Gorgone) who becomes caught up in the dangers of the "family business" and seeks refuge with one of "the boys" (Joe Vaccariello).

Reminiscent of Spontaneous Combustion, Chill allows two central characters to weave the story into a thrilling climax. Frank Parker makes an appearance as the kid with "bitch" problems, but his main role in this production was as cinematographer.

Finally, Dan gets to swear a whole bunch of times, but the biggest surprise is the debut performance of Joe Vaccariello. As the worst of the "wise guys", Joe Vacc is as calm as a cucumber but as menacing as a ginsu knife which keeps you guessing until the very end.
