Meet the Foos

Dan Gorgone

Since founding Random Foo Pictures in 1996 with C.C. Chapman, Dan has acted in nearly seventy movies, directed over twenty, and has donned some of the most ridiculous wigs, costumes, and makeup all in the name of entertainment. Most recently, Dan wrote, directed, and co-starred in Absolute Precision, his 50-minute "epic short" about the hitman genre, and Intruder, a thriller told without dialogue about the face-off between a husband and a robber.

Dan has worked with many other independent groups and production companies, serving as Director of Photography and Assistant Director on Limelight for Jodom Pictures, providing post-production and website assistance for Seven Sisters Films, and co-producing a short with Crazed Weasel Entertainment. Most recently, Dan co-starred in Mike Amato's A House Divided as the villainous Daddy Lyle, and has appeared in projects with SNL's Seth Meyers and Gov. Howard Dean. A professional web designer, Dan serves as co-webmaster of randomfoo.com.
