Chuck South
Chuck South is one of Random Foo's longest supporters, a talented comedic force with boundless energy. Chuck first portrayed the crazed dynamo informant known as Joe Punk in Executive Precision, followed by his lead role as Patchie in Pancake Angst. After additional roles in The Addict and Cadaver 57, Chuck wrote a mockumentary about a young basketball player dreaming of getting out of the 'hood. He would star in and direct Runnin' with Scootie, a legendary Foo comedy that remains a favorite of many fans.
Since then, Chuck disappeared from the Boston area, only to return with
another script in his hand: Kerri Oke. This tale of an underground
karaoke legend trying to raise money for the neighborhood orphanage was
produced late in 2003 with Chuck as its director and star. Its release
in August 2005 was hyped all over Boston - especially in the local press
- and the response to the movie was fantastic.
