What Do I Do With All These Loonies?

Heritage Park, or Calgary minus 100 years

The Foo Mission to Calgary is now complete, and after twenty thousand pictures at the beautiful and historic Heritage Park, Vacc has finally run out of room on his memory card. Dan's taken many pix, and there is some footage to be had as well. But it will be a long time before the Foos forget this vacation, especially thanks to Jon and Ginny, the wonderful Ashbys, and Murray Boyer, the man from Saskatoon.

Extra special thanks to Infiniti Productions for squeezing us Americans into their ultra-cool GCU series: can't wait for those episodes to appear!

And finally, thanks to the Customs Officers at the airport, who looked the other way when all we could say in response to their questions was "Two weeks... Two weeks!"

Vacc and Dan are off to the airport now, so here's the last of the pictures... for now!

Choo. Choo. Thrill to the terror aboard the ferris wheel! The Ashbys are generous hosts, eh? Dan with the Calgary Stampeders quarterback

* "Loonies" of course are the Canadian one dollar coins!

The Great White North

The weeklong adventure in the Great White North continues as Dan and Vacc venture deep into Alberta, visiting the beautiful town of Banff. The majestic Rocky Mountains serve as the backdrop for this little resort getaway, and one can't help but take pictures at every turn. What a place! Friday's festivities include more sightseeing, as well as more GCU shooting!

Foo Takes Canada By Force

Vacc and Dan rest after their tenth round of Paintball

Foo's Dan Gorgone and Joe Vaccariello are in Calgary this week visiting with Infiniti Productions. So far, both native New Englanders have battled allergies and that crazy exchange rate but have emerged victorious. The Foo duo even took in a day-long session of Paintball yesterday, proving that Americans can be just as crazy as Canadians while shooting guns full of paint.

More updates to come. For now, check out some of the pictures:
